Bentley Ranked #2 in Nation

The Bentley University Women's Basketball team is ranked second in the Division II Women's preseason Bulletin. National runner-up Ashland University is ranked #1, who was the team who ended the Falcon's season last year.  All- American Kari Daugherty will be returning for Ashland University.

Bentley is returning nine players from last year's team, which finished 31-4.  Returners include Captains Kelsey Roberson, Courtney Finn, and Lauren Battista. These three players hope to lead the team right back to where they were last year. Last year's season also included a repeat for the Falcons being the NCAA East Region, Northeast- 10 regular season and NE-10 playoff champions.

Junior forward Lauren Battista has high expectations to live up to.  She was a 2012 WBCA Division II All-America and Capital One Academic All-America. Battista is already a member of Bentley's 1,000- point club.

It will be an exciting season for the Bentley Falcons. The Falcons open its season November 11 against 9th ranked Holy Family at home.
